## What we do most here

Bigger lots and a lot of new construction, which means new-build grading problems, sod on raw dirt, and irrigation systems that have to cover real acreage.

Central homeowners deserve an outdoor space that works as hard as they do. Hernandez Lawnscape handles everything from seasonal color and garden design to ongoing lawn maintenance, so your property always looks like it’s being cared for, because it is.

## Central Landscaping Company

Hernandez Lawnscape has built a reputation in Central for showing up, doing the work right, and treating every property like it’s the only one on our schedule that day. [Landscaping](https://hernandezlawnscape.com/landscaping/) is where that reputation starts, we don’t hand you a generic plan, we design around your actual property, your actual sun exposure, and how your family actually uses the yard. The goal is always the same: a space that feels like it belongs to your home specifically.

## Benefits of Professional Landscaping

It’s easy to think of landscaping as purely cosmetic, but for Central homeowners it does real, practical work too. A properly planned landscape improves drainage around your foundation, reduces erosion on sloped or uneven lots, and, alongside the curb appeal boost, genuinely adds to your property’s resale value. It’s an investment that pays you back in more ways than one.

## Custom Landscape Design

Every custom design we build for a Central property starts with a conversation, not a template. We talk through what you want the space to feel like, then translate that into an actual plan, plant selection, [flower bed](https://hernandezlawnscape.com/flower-beds/) placement, and layout, that fits both your taste and your property’s conditions. The result should feel obviously yours, not interchangeable with the yard next door.

## Irrigation and Drainage Solutions

Louisiana’s heat and humidity don’t leave much room for guesswork when it comes to watering, which is why we design [irrigation](https://hernandezlawnscape.com/irrigation/) systems specifically for how each Central property drains and holds water. On the flip side, when a yard has the opposite problem, standing water after a storm, our [drainage](https://hernandezlawnscape.com/drainage/) solutions redirect it before it becomes a bigger issue.

## Lawn Care Services

A great landscape is only as good as the lawn underneath it.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do you handle new-construction yards in Central?

Yes. We typically fix the grade and drainage first, install irrigation, then sod. Doing it in that order is what keeps the new lawn alive through the first summer.

### How large a lot can you irrigate?

We design zoned systems around the water pressure and the lawn, so larger Central lots simply get more zones. Recent installs have run nine zones across lawn and beds.
