We find the low spots, note the sun and shade through the day, and listen to what you want the yard to do: entertain, contain a dog, hide a fence, stop flooding. 2. A drawn plan showing beds, sod, drainage runs, irrigation zones, rock, edging and lighting. 3. An itemized quote that matches the drawing line by line, so you can build it in phases if you want to. 4. Revisions until it is right.
