How the monthly price works
We price your yard per visit, multiply by the visits in the year and divide by twelve. A $50 cut on the weekly plan is 38 cuts a year, about $158 a month, the same in January as in July. The premium plan works the same way: the year of cleanups, mulch and pruning is added up and spread out, so there is no large bill every spring.
What we do not do: fertilization and lawn treatment programs. Those require a separate state license. We point you to a licensed provider and coordinate visits.
Lawn Maintenance Plans in Baton Rouge
A maintenance plan is a simple promise: the same crew, on a set schedule, all year. You stop thinking about the lawn. The neighbors start noticing it. There are three plans, and this page lays out what each one covers, so there are no surprises on the first visit or on the invoice.
Basic Lawn Maintenance, Weekly Plan
The weekly plan follows the grass. From April through October, when St. Augustine, Zoysia and Bermuda grow fast in Baton Rouge heat, we are there every week. From November through March growth slows, so the same plan drops to every other week. That works out to about 38 cuts a year, and the schedule shifts with the season without you calling to change it.
Basic Lawn Maintenance, Biweekly Plan
The biweekly plan is every other week, about 24 cuts a year. It fits Centipede, heavily shaded lawns and yards that grow slowly. On a fast-growing lawn in July, two weeks between cuts is a long time, and we will tell you if weekly is the better fit before you sign up.
Lawn and Landscape Premium Plan
The premium plan is the weekly plan plus the landscape upkeep most homeowners otherwise pay for in lumps: seasonal cleanups, mulch and pine straw refresh, pruning, leaf removal, flower bed maintenance, and sprinkler checks with backflow winterizing. Instead of a large cleanup bill every spring and fall, the whole year of work is added up and spread across twelve even monthly payments, and we keep up with the property all year long.
How a Plan Is Priced
One flat monthly payment. We price your yard per visit, multiply by the number of visits in the year, and divide by twelve. A lawn that costs $50 a cut on the weekly plan is 38 cuts a year, which comes to about $158 a month, the same in January as in July. Most basic plans start in the $150 to $200 a month range. Premium plans, with the landscape work included, usually run $500 to $800 a month depending on the property.
Lot size, edging length, the number of beds, how many hard surfaces need blowing, and gates or slopes that change how the crew works all set the per-visit price. You get it in writing after we see the yard and before the first visit.
Quoted Separately on the Basic Plans
- Seasonal cleanups.
- Mulch and pine straw refresh.
- Pruning by the plant's calendar.
- Leaf removal in heavy-drop yards.
- Sprinkler checks and backflow winterizing.
- Bed renovation, new plantings and seasonal color.
Commercial Plans
Apartments, restaurants, churches, hotels and managed properties run on the same plans with fixed weekly routes, plus the licensed irrigation and drainage work that keeps a property manager from making three calls. See the commercial landscaping pages for how that works.
