How long does artificial turf last in Louisiana heat?
Quality turf with a compacted, permeable base holds up 12 to 15 years in Baton Rouge sun. The base is what fails on cheap installs, which is why ours is warrantied.
Does artificial turf drain?
Yes, if the base under it is built to. We excavate, lay and compact a permeable base with a slight fall, so rain passes through the turf and leaves instead of ponding. On pool surrounds we add a rock border so splash-out goes to the base, not the coping.
Can dogs use artificial turf?
Yes. Dog runs are one of the most common turf jobs we do. The turf drains through, rinses clean with a hose, and there are no bare patches by the fence.
How much does artificial turf cost in Baton Rouge?
