Sprinkler System Repair in Baton Rouge

A small repair is often the start of a long relationship. Fix the leaking valve right, and the homeowner trusts you with the beds and the drainage next. That is how many of our biggest projects began.

A credential you can check

Louisiana requires a license for this. We carry it.

Most mowing crews do not hold an irrigation license, and the homeowner rarely finds out until a backflow fails or a permit is pulled. Ours is on every quote, and you can verify it yourself.

  • Zoned systems designed for sun, shade and bed lines
  • Wifi controllers you run from your phone
  • Backflow prevention installed and winterized
  • Repairs on any brand: heads, valves, wiring, controllers
  • Sod put back over every trench
  • Warranty on the installation

Sprinkler System Repair in Baton Rouge

A broken head, a valve that will not close, a zone that never comes on. Small problems that waste water every day and brown out a lawn in a week of July heat. We repair sprinkler systems of any brand across Baton Rouge and Livingston Parish, under Louisiana irrigation contractor license IC #0866, and we tell you the price before the work starts.

Common Sprinkler Issues We Repair

  • Heads that are cracked, buried, tilted or spraying the sidewalk.
  • Valves that stick open and run all night, or stick closed and leave a zone dry.
  • Wires cut by another contractor, a fence post or a shovel.
  • Controllers that lost their program or never had one that fit the yard.
  • Low pressure from a leak underground, a clogged filter or too many heads on one zone.
  • Backflow devices that fail, freeze or need annual testing.

Signs You Need Sprinkler System Repair

Watch the lawn, not the controller. A green yard with one brown stripe is a head problem. A soggy corner that never dries is a stuck valve or an underground leak. A water bill that jumped with no change in habits means something is running when it should not. If the system will not shut off at all, close the main valve and call us the same day.

How a Repair Visit Works

  1. We run every zone and watch each head, so we find the problems you did not call about too.
  2. We tell you what we found and what it costs to fix before we touch anything.
  3. Most repairs are done on that visit. Heads, valves, wiring and controllers are on the truck.
  4. We set the controller for the season before we leave.

Repair or Replace

Most systems are worth repairing. An older system with a tired controller and a few bad heads usually comes back to life for far less than a new one. When the pipe itself is failing in several places, or the design never covered the yard, we will tell you that plainly and quote a redesign instead of patching a system that will keep calling you back.

Why the Small Job Matters to Us

A lot of our largest projects began with a sprinkler repair. The homeowner watched how the crew worked, asked about the wet corner of the yard, and a year later we were doing the drainage and the beds. We treat the first repair the way we treat a renovation, because it usually is the start of one.

From our jobs

  • A sprinkler line trenched along the curb of a Baton Rouge front lawn, with the sod set aside to go back over it
  • White PVC pipe laid beside a freshly dug trench in a lawn
  • White PVC irrigation pipe laid along a fresh trench across an open lawn

Questions

Sprinkler Repair questions, answered straight

The questions homeowners ask on the assessment, with the answers Gerardo gives.

How fast can you get to a sprinkler repair?
Repairs are worked into the week's route, usually within a few days. Calls are returned the same day. If a line is running and will not shut off, tell us when you call and we will get someone there sooner.
Do you repair systems you did not install?
Yes. Heads, valves, wiring, controllers and backflow devices on any brand. The repair is done under Louisiana irrigation contractor license IC #0866, the same credential we install under.
What does a typical sprinkler repair cost?
The typical first ticket runs $300 to $600: a broken head or two, a leaking valve, or a zone that will not fire. We tell you the number before the work starts.
Why did my system stop covering part of the lawn?
Usually a cracked head, a stuck valve, a cut wire from another contractor, or heads that were never set for the bed lines. We test every zone and show you what we found.
Can you winterize the backflow?
Yes. Backflow winterizing is included for maintenance-plan customers and available as a service call for everyone else.
